Every movement has a beginning.
In March 2025, the Sunrise City Coconut Collective, SC3, officially launched at Scol di Arte in San Nicolas.
The event brought together community leaders, NGOs, entrepreneurs, artists, social innovators and other stakeholders to introduce SC3’s vision and begin a larger conversation about what could be achieved through greater collaboration within San Nicolas.
From the beginning, SC3 was built around the belief that sustainable community development requires participation from different parts of society. Its approach therefore brings together different areas of community life, from business and education to family, culture, communications and governance.
At the heart of that mission is COCONUTS:
Cultivate Opportunities and Connections to Nourish, Uplift, and Transform San Nicolas.
The launch marked the beginning of SC3’s effort to connect people, knowledge, skills, opportunities and resources around one shared objective.
Helping San Nicolas grow through collaboration, community participation and locally driven action.
